Neck Tube Between the helmet and the top of the riding jacket, the neck is exposed to the elements, which can range from rain and cold to dust and grit. A very handy accessory for all travel is a Buff neck tube. These keep the neck warm and dry and double up as hats, balaclavas and dust masks. 14,000 mile update: I sent the polar version of this home as it is too warm for most places on my trip. I still wear the regular one daily, though for wind and sun protection.
